You might benefit from participating in CLASSROOM SUPPORTS FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS.
Teachers of English Learners will examine classroom strategies, accommodations, and services in order to better support students.This interactive presentation will offer resources and clarify policy and procedures for how to support English Learners. Much like IEPs, every English Learner has an ELAP - English Language Academic Plan. We will review some of the most commonly recommended accommodations, check out some of our students' ELAPs, and provide a variety of supports for language development.

In this session, we’ll go deeper into two of the five protective factors that help families thrive: “Parental Resilience” and “Social Connections.” Through practical examples and real-world strategies, participants will learn how everyday interactions can reduce stress, spark connection, and create stronger, more resilient school communities. This session will explain how EPS is funded. How the budget is prepared and how bond money is used.

How to stay out of the cycle of chaos and structure your class for success. Preplanning your year to promote student accountability and success. We will give tips and tricks that will help you create independent students. This will be geared toward secondary math and science and the unique problems that arise including lab management and high and low achievers.
