EPS Summer Extravaganza 2026

This session provides a clear overview of Lumio’s core features, including activity creation, built in tools, and ready‑made resources that support engaging instruction. Participants will learn the fundamentals of building, delivering, and managing lessons so they can confidently integrate Lumio into daily classroom practice.

You will experience - through a fun hands-on activity - about an excitingly fun way to add creative play (#1 way of increasing IQ!), increase student self-motivation, & use as an assessment tool, all in a fun & engaging activity that does not require extra classroom time or $! Can be used as a regular assignment, in their center rotations, or as a specialty creative project!

3rd - 12th Grade - Any & ALL Subjects welcome

Watch your students' desire to learn 'come alive' as you are teaching!
Students will WANT to learn so that they can use the information to then CREATE!
You can then use their creations to assess how much they've learned!

If you can bring an iPad that would be great!
I'll try to have some!
This is a hands on workshop! you can work by yourself, with a partner, or in a small group,...but you can also just watch!

You will experience the excitement of creating your own You-Tube-esque video presentation, inside a recording studio that we will construct together, & you can make in your own classroom using just a few easy to get (& store!) materials.

This is a modern engaging way for students to incorporate technology, & demonstrate their deeper knowledge & understanding of a topic, beyond what a worksheet or assignment can show!

Wear comfortable clothes & shoes!
Bring your Chromebook or iPad if you have one!

This class highlights the three core pillars of Video Making: shooting, Video editing (WeVideo), and special effects (Canva) for that final "pop."
