About me
I am a dedicated educator with 11 years of experience serving students in Edmond Public Schools. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Reading from the University of Central Oklahoma. During my career, I spent eight years as a Mild/Moderate Special Education teacher and currently serve as a Behavior Interventionist, a role I have held for the past three years. I recently completed the requirements to earn my Principal Certification, further strengthening my commitment to educational leadership and student success.I am passionate about supporting students with significant behavioral challenges and believe that behavior is a skill that can be taught, just like reading, writing, or math. I approach every student with the belief that all children are capable of learning, growing, and succeeding when provided with the right support and instruction. I enjoy sharing practical strategies, resources, and tools that help teachers build positive relationships, support student behavior, and create successful learning environments for all students. I love talking about behavior (and video games), so ask me anything!
